Why Coastlines’ Homes are so well priced
Why are Coastlines' homes so competitive?
There is a common misconception that it is more expesive to build through a small private, locally owned builder.
That the attention to detail, quality control, and customer service you get somehow costs more.
Nothing could be further from the truth, and you can see why by reading 6 reasons below.
At Coastline Homes we do things a little differently.
We don't charge to design your home
Coastline homes believe in building relationships with our clients, and what better way to do this, than to invest time developing your beautiful house design with you. We are so confident in our ability to give you what you want within your budget that we don’t charge for the privilege of working with you.
We don't pay sales commissions
We don’t employ sales people, and therefore you don’t pay a sales commission on the home. This is thousands of dollars which remains in your pocket. Instead you deal with your very own registered builder, the one responsible for all aspects of your home, right through to handover of keys.
We don't have a big advertising budget to pay for
Most of our competitors spend a huge amount of money on advertising each year. This is money they have to make off every home they build, so you are paying for them to get their next sale. At Coastline Homes, we also advertise, on social media mostly, but the amount we spend per home is a fraction of what they spend, and we pass these savings along to you.
We don't have a huge display program to pay for
Sales people need somewhere to attract customers, thus the flashy display homes. Display homes are very expensive, not only to build, but also to maintain. At Coastline Homes we don’t have display homes. Our past clients are happy to let you look through their homes, and isn’t it better to look over what we do every time we build, rather than a one off display home?
Our overheads are very small
We’re a small, private, local builder. We don’t shuffle you from sales, to prestart, to client liaison, to a supervisor. You deal with one person all the way through, your registered builder, and we don’t have a huge office with 30 or 40 people shuffling papers around all day. We keep our overheads very low, and the 15 to 20 clients we build for each year enjoy the savings.
